The Best Places to Eat Breakfast in Rehoboth Beach

Rehoboth Beach Delaware has an incredible food scene, which means there are also plenty of fantastic places to eat breakfast in Rehoboth.

Whether you want something low key and casual, or fun and trendy, there is no shortage of great brunch spots in Rehoboth Beach.

Greetings from Rehoboth Beach, DE

Best Themed Breakfast in Rehoboth: Egg

Egg is an extremely cute and friendly restaurant just at the edge of downtown Rehoboth Beach right next to the canal. The theme of the restaurant lives up to the name, it’s decked out with chicken and egg decor, without being overly kitschy.  Instead it has just the right amount of whitewashed wood and farmhouse flavor without going overboard.  Be sure to check out the restroom on the right for cute chicken decor.

For food you’ll find breakfast classics like biscuits and gravy, and of course eggs.  They also offer other items with a twist, like peanut butter stuffed french toast sandwich.

Be sure to arrive early as they are only open from 7am – 1pm.  Even though they’re only open until 1, they still have a full bar for mimosas or breakfast margaritas

Best Basic Breakfast in Rehoboth: Crystal Restaurant

Located just outside of the main portion of Rehoboth Beach, across from the Ocean Glass Inn, you’ll find Crystal Restaurant.  This is your typical neighborhood breakfast diner.  Nothing fancy in the food or decor, just good everyday food that is a favorite among locals.

Here you can get breakfast or lunch as they’re open from 7am – 3pm daily.  Bonus, if you have a car, there is a parking lot on site.

Cutest Brush Spot in Rehoboth: Somewhere

Somewhere is an old house a block off Rehoboth Ave, converted into a restaurant.  If you visit in the offseason, arrive early, as the indoor seating area is very small.  Because of this it can take awhile to get a seat even for small parties.  However, in warmer weather, they have multiple outdoor seating and lounge areas.

Both the interior and exterior are very charming and colorful.  The breakfast portion of the menu is fairly small, but the rest of the menu is pretty large for lunch and dinner options.

This restaurant is only open seasonally, so check their website or instagram to be sure they’re open.  When in season, they’re open Thursday – Saturday from 9am – 8/9pm and Sundays from 9am – 4/5pm.

Fun Fact: Somewhere has the only manual espresso machine in all of Delaware.  If you are a coffee aficionado, stop here for a coffee or espresso martini.

While technically in Dewey Beach, and not Rehoboth, Dewey Post is still one of the highest rated spots for breakfast in Rehoboth and surrounding areas.

This small breakfast and coffee cafe is known for killer pastries and what locals claim as the “best waffles in town”.  Instead of a charcuterie board, order a waffle board with chicken, waffles and fresh fruit.

Dewey Post is open Thursday – Monday from 8am – 2pm.
