On my recent trip to Kraków, I only had a short stay which meant I wanted to get as much time in the city as possible. However, I was staying at an apartment hotel with no reception or bag storage and an afternoon flight. Thankfully, I was staying a short walk from the Glowny train station and could store my bags for a few hours before leaving on the airport train to catch my next flight.

Where to find the Krakow train station luggage storage
The luggage storage service is officially within the Glowny station, but it is located just outside of the Galeria Krakowska shopping center entrance.
From the train platforms, you will head downstairs one level to access the main station. From there you need to walk towards the Pawia Street exit, or look for Galeria signs. Next, head back up one level.
If you have reached the Galeria entry doors you have gone too far. When facing the doors separating the mall from the train station, the luggage storage will be a few shops to the left. There is also a large sign pointing you in the correct direction. The luggage cloak room is also directly across from the escalators heading down to the Dworzec Główny Tunel.
From inside the mall, you will need to make sure you head down to level -1 and walk towards the railway station. The doors will be just past the Popeyes and McDonalds, then take an immediate right, and you will see the storage.
Hours for luggage storage at the Krakow Train Station
The Krakow train station luggage storage hours are from 6am to 10pm. However, it is recommended to show up no later than 9:45pm to claim your bags.
How much luggage storage costs at Krakow Glowny Station
The Krakow train station luggage storage prices vary based on the type of item you are storing and how many pieces you store. The great thing about this storage location is that you are charged per day, not by the hour. So you don’t need to worry about how long you leave your items, so long as you pick them up before the end of day.
Small items (like backpacks and even smaller duffle bags) cost 9zl ($2.50). Medium bags, probably around the size of a carry-on roller bag, are 11zl ($3). Large suitcases are 13zl ($3.60) while extra large bags are 20zl ($5.60) per bag. They also store items like jackets (7zl/$2) and umbrellas (5zl/$1.40).
While there, I stored a large suitcase, duffle bag and backpack for a total of 29 Polish złoty, which is roughly $8. To me, it is well worth the price to store bags and enjoy more of the city.
Also, as a bonus, the Krakow train station luggage storage takes credit cards! No need to take out extra cash you won’t need after leaving Poland.

At this location there are no self service luggage lockers. Instead there is an attendant and everything is stored safely. There are no reservations or bookings available. Simply show up, pay, leave your bags, and collect them when you return (with your ticket). The whole process is very easy and straightforward.
